Firefox 5: summary of problems reported on support forums/Twitter
Hi ! Now, about 10 days after the launch of Firefox 5, I would like to share with you some observations I made from wandering on different support forums. The launch of Firefox 5 has one important difference from the previous launches. It was an almost-immediate, mandatory update. Previously, lots of people migrated only when the X.Y.2 ou X.Y.3 was out. An important part of the early problems of the new release were therefore not felt by the least computer-savvy Firefox users, especially extensions compatibility problems. As it is not the case with this latest migration,..
Support Firefox Day planning
Hi everyone, It's time to plan the Firefox 3 release Support Firefox Day. As Live Chat has the least amount of work needed (relatively) going in to the release I've volunteered to coordinate planning this time around. *Planning meeting Wednesday June 9th, 10am PDT* We're going to have a phone meeting very soon to kick off the planning and hopefully solidify most of the details. If you're interested in helping out this time around, or if you just have some comments about the last SFD that you think we should address please call in! If you can't call in please..

Firefox (3?) plan for the future of JS support
Hello everyone, I'd like to start by saying this is my first post here and I have good intentions. I am a web developer and I do many exciting projects, all cross-browser compatible and with standards compliance. I feel that Firefox (and possibly Firefox 3) should be setup with a basic way to 'cache' javascript framework. I realize this may not be where to mention this, but there is no reasonable way to speak with someone about such an idea. Basically, the idea I have can be summarized as follows. Include the small (in executable terms, and can be compressed ev..
